Colors TV is an Indian entertainment broadcast channel. The owner of Colors TV is Viacom18. Colors TV is a programming network which consist of comedy shows, family romantic drama, youth oriented shows, reality and talk shows and some shows based on crime and television films. It was launched 14 years ago in 21 July 2008. It was launched by Viacom18 under the Chief Executive officer Rajesh Kamat. In less than a year it’s shows like Balika Wadhu, Susral simar ka, Bigg boss, Khatron k Khiladi, Utran and other shows helped it to be more famous than Star Plus and gain more weekly gross rating points (GRPs). Colors TV was added on 24 October 2012 by many operation in India and Nepal . Colors TV is available on Asianet digital TV, Airtel digital TV, Dish TV and Tata play. Colors TV is based in Mumbai India.
International
Colors TV became available internationally in United States, Canada and Mexico in 21 January 2010. Its name is Aapka Colors (Your Colors ) in these countries. It shows English subtitles with every show being aired through it. It makes easy for the people residing in foreign countries to understand and have no confusion. It was also launched in UK and USA where Amitabh Bachan play a role as a brand ambassador of the channel Colors TV. In 25 January 2010, Colors TV also launched in United kingdom and Ireland on Sky.
